Lets see how long it takes before someone comments on this post...

Hi Everyone! I decided to do a quick post since I have the time right now and I actually have something I can write about.

Anyways, I am sure all of you Poulson cousins recognize your grandma in the picture :) Marsha was looking through some old photos and found this picture with grandma on her mission. Believe it or not... my dad is the goofy looking guy on the right! Thats right... my dad served a mission with grandma Poulson! Crazy huh?

Anyways...I gotta go.

Adios!

PS- This post is dedicated to Genny... she really wants me to get into blogging and has been bugging me for a while to get something posted. This one's for you Genny!!!

Not long huh! YAY!!! Welcome back. next you can post all about your lemonade adventures.

I think this picture is soooo amazing....almost like Grandma was up in heaven thinking, "Hmmm...Elder Crosby was sure a nice young man and now he has a beautiful daugther. I think I'll help my grandson out a little." Isn't it amazing how things work out? I'll bet back then your dad never would have even considered the possibility that he was standing next to his future son-in-law's grandma!!!

I'm with Genny: YAY!
That is absolutely amazing that Grandma Poulson met your dad. Wow. I need to get into this genealogy thing more; it sure is interesting!

Oh, how very small this world is. I agree with Kirsten that genealogy does have its very interesting side. And, I'm glad to see a new post (believe it or not, I do actually check your blog pretty regularly).

That picture actually brought tears to my eyes. So thanks. And you don't know me, but I sure remember Richard (who teased me a LOT, and unmercifully at that) and I'd love you get to know you better, so I agree with Genny that you should definitely blog more.

Welcome back to the blogging world. I've actually never met you yet, but I've heard a lot about you from my uncle Scott, Aunt Marsha and Genny. I heard the story of your dad and my Grandma when the two of you were dating and I thought to myself, "That's no coincidence. It's meant to be!" I hope we can meet someday. Until then, continue blogging and that way I can get to know you better!

Yesterday when I was going through my pics I came across three pictures mom sent me when she was on her mission. One was of just her, one of her and her companion, and then this one that's on your post. It gave me the shivers. Mom took a lot of pictures on her mission and I find it very interesting that one of only three that she sent me her whole mission had your dad in it. You were meant to be in our family, and we are so glad you are. Have you shown it to your dad yet? We love you.

I just posted a little thing on my blog about it being a small world. This makes it even smaller. What a fun thing and who better to serve with than Grandma. (I am Richard's cousin BTW). And yes, keep blogging. Come check me out too. hatchbatch-kw.blogspot.com

p.s. Has Richard ever told you of his adventure in the 'wilderness' with my brother Wade. Too funny. I am suprised they made it out alive though.
